What's Unique About F1 Miami?
Whether you're watching live or on-screen, the F1 2022 Miami race is a can't miss event. This inaugural Miami Grand Prix will be the second US race on the calendar and the 11th US venue to host a round of the F1 world championship.
The Hard Rock Stadium is sure to field a street-track spectacular. With its 5.41km layout, it features 19 corners, three straights, an estimated top speed of 320 km/h, the potential for three DRS zones, and a total of 57 laps. Home to the Miami Dolphins, the track has culminated into a 19-turn lap that offers a beloved circuit vibe that is similar to Melbourne's Albert Park.
Not to mention elevation changes on the track, specifically between Turns 13 and 16, with the track over an exit ramp and beneath several flyovers across uneven ground. Meanwhile, Turn 14 to 15 features an uphill approach and crest in the middle before dropping down on the exit.
